Screening Call Stage
Hansa calls the candidate, asks your pre-configured questions, evaluates the answers, and decides pass or fail — all automatically.
What you configure
- Who will screen — Hansa (fully automated), Me, or Someone else
- Call retry logic — how many times to retry if no answer (3, 5, or Custom) and the gap between retries
- Screening questions — the exact questions Hansa will ask on the call
- For each question: whether it is a qualifying question (Yes/No toggle)
- Preferred answers — for qualifying questions, define what a passing answer looks like
- AND/OR qualifying logic — the rule Hansa uses to decide pass or fail
- Who qualifies the candidate — Hansa, Me, or Someone else
- Fallback action — what happens if the candidate never answers after all retries
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What happens if the candidate never picks up?
After all retries are exhausted, the fallback action triggers: Reject Automatically, Inform Me, or Inform Someone Else.
Q: What is a qualifying question?
A qualifying question feeds into the pass/fail logic. Toggle 'Qualifying Question' to Yes for any question you want Hansa to evaluate.
Shortlisting Stage
The Shortlisting stage filters candidates automatically using data already collected — resume, screening call answers, ACE Score. No calls are made and no contact is initiated.

AND / OR Qualifying Logic

| AND | Candidate must meet ALL connected conditions to pass. | Total Experience > 2 AND Notice Period ≤ 30 |
| OR | Candidate needs to meet at least ONE of the connected conditions to pass. | ACE Score > 60 OR Total Experience > 5 |
You can combine both operators by grouping conditions. Example: (ACE Score > 55 OR Relevant Experience > 3) AND Notice Period < 30.
